Twas the night before Christmas

My dad lost a tooth

Shortly after Midnight

I heard a little clickity-clack on the roof

I was far too tired to move

Or completely get out of bed

But you guys, take a listen

To what the old Fat Man said

“Girl, you are so lucky

Surrounded by all of this love

That truly is the greatest gift

That I could ever think of!

"Don't worry about those dental implants

Or future bills to pay

Trust me, it will all work out

And that’s all I’ve got to say!”

He left through the basement window

Which I thought was crazy

But at this late hour of the night

My memory is quite hazy

Thank you for all of the love,

The advice, the presents and meals

I am deeply and profoundly blessed

For I know how true love feels

Merry Christmas

To you, Mom and Dad

I know how lucky I got

Getting the two of you as parents

Is a gift I could not have bought!
